Motorola is redefining the tablet with the Motorola Android Xoom Wi-Fi Tablet. It helps you stay connected with your friends, as well as being productive on the go.

Our review on this Tablet PC found plenty of interesting features.

This Motorola Android Tablet boasts a dual core processor. With each core running at 1 GHz, for lightning speed in a Tablet. A large 10.1-inch touchscreen, widescreen HD display with super-fast Wireless-N Wi-Fi for networking.

The Motorola Android Xoom is the winner of the “Best of Show” Tablet at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show.

This Android Tablet uses the Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system which offers users a multi-touch holographic user interface which will improve many of the Android favorites.

It also offers the latest Google Mobile innovations as well. Xoom features a front facing camera for video chat, as well as a rear facing camera for pictures and video.

Great for gaming and features a built in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass and adaptive lighting for all the new types of applications. Make no doubt about it, the Motorola Android Xoom is the most up to date model there is in 2011.

Other interesting and exciting features it has include a 32 GB internal memory, potential for memory expansion. Wi-Fi networking and Bluetooth for hands free usage, with HD 1080p video playback.

Motorola Xoom specs are: weight 25 ounces and measures 9.8×6.6×0.5 inches.

Its 3250 mah lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 10 hours of video playback, up to 10 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing, and up to 3.3 days of MP3 playback.

When checking Amazon, there were currently 245 reviews for the Motorola Android Tablet. More than half of them have given a five star review.

One customer related the product to that of playing chess. They said when they first got the Xoom it seemed confusing with so much information and they weren’t blown away by it.

Yet, into the second day and working with the unit they said it hit them and they are now like WOW! They stated not that it really was that confusing, there was just so much this Xoom could do it took them a short time to appreciate it all.

One customer after using it for a day stated there were many features they liked about it. Such as flexibility, the front and rear camera, great graphics, fully loaded Wi-Fi and great display.

Some reviews did have negatives. Not as easy to use out of the box, the screen is a fingerprint magnet and there are not that many applications for it yet.

Another customer compared the Xoom to the Ipad2 and preferred the Xoom for a few different reasons. Such as the Xoom graphics and files were easier to download.

In general, when looking at the customer reviews there seems to be some minor concerns yet most seem things that time will take care of.

The overall consensus of the Motorola Android Xoom was a positive one, with wonderful feedback and many five star reviews.
